2. Purpose and Scope of this Website
get.rich is an informational website about the .RICH top-level domain.
get.rich does not register or manage domain names, maintain user accounts, process payments or operate a newsletter.
Accordingly, when you use get.rich, personal data are processed only to the extent necessary to operate and secure the Website, to carry out a redirect to an external registrar expressly initiated by you, or to process an email that you voluntarily send to us.
This Privacy Policy applies to get.rich. Third-party websites and services are subject to their own privacy policies.
3. Hosting and Server Log Data
The Website is hosted through GoDaddy.com, LLC, 100 S Mill Ave, Suite 1600, Tempe, Arizona 85281, United States. The hosting account used for get.rich is assigned to GoDaddy's “North America” data centre region.
When you access the Website, technically necessary connection and server data are processed. These may include:
- your IP address;
- the date and time of access;
- the page or file requested;
- browser type and version;
- operating system and user-agent information;
- technical connection information; and
- a referring URL, where transmitted by your browser.
These data are processed in order to deliver the Website, maintain its functionality and security, detect technical errors, and identify and prevent abusive or security-related access.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure, stable and proper operation of the Website and our IT systems.
Server and access logs are retained for no longer than seven days and are then deleted or overwritten, unless longer retention is necessary in a particular case to investigate a specific security incident, comply with a legal obligation, or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
GoDaddy also states that the logs managed by it for its shared hosting services are rotated after seven days.
4. Domain Search and Redirect to Porkbun
get.rich does not provide domain registration services itself.
If you enter a term in a domain search field on get.rich and start the search, your browser processes that term solely in order to carry out the redirect you have requested to the website of the independent registrar Porkbun LLC.
The search term is not first transmitted to the get.rich server and is neither stored by Dot Online nor recorded in our server logs. The redirect contains no affiliate, marketing or tracking parameters added by Dot Online. No HTTP referrer from get.rich is transmitted to Porkbun.
When you start the search, your browser connects directly to Porkbun's website and transmits the search term as part of the destination URL. In the course of that direct Internet connection, Porkbun also necessarily receives connection data required to establish the connection, including the IP address of your device.
To the extent that a search term contains personal data, the processing carried out technically on your device for the purpose of providing the search and redirect function expressly requested by you is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to enable visitors to get.rich to initiate a search for a .RICH domain with an independent registrar.
Once you are redirected, you leave get.rich. Any subsequent domain search, registration, payment, domain management and other processing of personal data are carried out independently by Porkbun LLC and are subject to Porkbun's own privacy practices. Porkbun identifies itself as the controller for personal data that it processes in connection with users in the EEA.
5. Contact by Email
get.rich does not provide a contact form. You may, however, choose to contact us by using an email address provided in our Legal Notice or in this Privacy Policy.
If you send us an email, we may process in particular:
- your email address;
- your name and any other contact details voluntarily provided by you;
- the content of your message;
- the date and time of the communication; and
- technical communication and metadata associated with the email.
We process these data in order to handle and respond to your message.
Where your communication relates to entering into or performing a contract, processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. In all other cases, processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the proper handling of business communications voluntarily addressed to us.
We use Microsoft 365 Email obtained through GoDaddy for our email communications. In connection with the technical provision and security of this service, personal data may therefore be processed by GoDaddy, Microsoft group companies and service providers engaged by them.
Email correspondence is deleted when it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was received, unless statutory retention requirements apply or further retention is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
6. Cookies, Tracking and External Website Resources
get.rich does not use cookies or comparable storage technologies on your device.
In particular, we do not use:
- website analytics services such as Google Analytics or Matomo;
- Google Ads Conversion Tracking;
- advertising or marketing cookies;
- tracking pixels;
- profiling technologies; or
- cross-site tracking technologies.
Fonts and material JavaScript and CSS libraries used by get.rich are served locally from our own web server. Their use does not establish a connection to Google Fonts, MyFonts or comparable external font or tracking providers.
As get.rich does not currently use cookies or comparable technologies requiring consent, the Website does not display a cookie consent banner.
7. Recipients of Personal Data
Where necessary for the relevant purpose, personal data may be disclosed to or processed by the following recipients or categories of recipients:
- GoDaddy as our hosting and email service provider;
- Microsoft and relevant Microsoft companies in connection with Microsoft 365 Email;
- technical subprocessors engaged by those providers;
- IT and security service providers where required;
- legal, tax and other professional advisers where required; and
- public authorities, courts or other public bodies where disclosure is required by law or necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
Where a service provider processes personal data on our behalf, the processing is governed by an appropriate data processing arrangement in accordance with Article 28 GDPR.
8. International Data Transfers
In connection with our hosting and technical service providers, personal data may be processed outside the European Union or European Economic Area, in particular in the United States.
GoDaddy.com, LLC is among the GoDaddy entities participating in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. The European Commission's adequacy decision permits transfers of personal data to U.S. organisations participating in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework without additional transfer safeguards being required for that transfer.
Microsoft likewise confirms participation in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework for its covered U.S. entities.
Where a transfer is not covered by an adequacy decision under Article 45 GDPR, it takes place only where another lawful basis under Articles 44 et seq. GDPR is available, in particular appropriate safeguards under Article 46 GDPR such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

If you choose to start a domain search on get.rich, your browser connects directly to Porkbun LLC in the United States. The subsequent processing by Porkbun takes place under Porkbun's own responsibility.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the relevant processing purpose.
Server and access logs are subject to the maximum seven-day retention period described in Section 3 above.
The retention period for email correspondence depends on the purpose of the relevant communication. Where commercial, tax or other statutory retention obligations apply, the relevant data are retained for the period required by law.
Personal data may also be retained for the duration of applicable statutory limitation periods where this is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
10. Requirement to Provide Personal Data
When you visit the Website, the processing of certain technical connection data, in particular your IP address, is technically necessary. Without those data, the Website cannot be transmitted to your device.
Use of the domain search function is voluntary. If you do not enter a search term and start the search, no redirect to Porkbun will take place.
Contacting us by email is also voluntary. Without the information necessary to communicate with you, in particular a valid email address, we may not be able to respond to your message.
Otherwise, there is no statutory or contractual requirement to provide personal data to Dot Online in connection with your use of get.rich.

Subject to the applicable statutory requirements, you have in particular the right to:
- request access to your personal data under Article 15 GDPR;
- request rectification of inaccurate or incomplete personal data under Article 16 GDPR;
